Shell Eco-marathon is Here!

The team has finally arrived in nice and sunny London!

Our journey to London began at the end of last week, where a couple of our team members packed up the car and hit the road to drive all the way from Trondheim to London. The rest of us flew over from Norway yesterday or today to get the Shell Eco-Marathon 2018.

Today we spent the time registering our team, setting up our garage at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and our camp site in humid but windy weather conditions. One thing is for sure we will not be cold this week!

Make the Future Live is a Festival from July 5-8, 2018 where the headliner is Shell Eco-marathon. Hundreds of student teams in Europe with bright and innovative ideas gather together to compete with their vehicle in one of the world’s greatest ultra-energy-efficient challenges. We have spent two years designing, building and improving our car to be the best car we can possibly make! We worked so hard to get to where we are now and we are finally here in London.

Our plan this week is to pass the technical inspection tomorrow, and make adjustments here and there to our car until the competition begins. We also plan to have a lot of fun especially meeting and exchanging ideas and experiences with the other 176 student teams competing this year.

Needless to say, it will be a very busy week for us, but we are super excited! So follow us at Instagram, Facebook and off course this blog to see what we are up to.
